The Delanor

Since I haven't uploaded anything in forever, I'm sharing this lot I made yesterday for my game. I want to populate my hood quickly, so I needed a simple apartment lot, that wasn't too big and could accommodate large families. It's nothing too fancy or intricate, but common areas are family friendly and (with kids doubled up in each bedroom) the apartments should comfortably house a family of 8, or at least I hope so... My sims haven't started making babies yet. :D

Boring Stuffs You Need To Know

As usual, apartments are unfurnished, except for bathrooms and kitchens. All common areas are furnished as pictured.

Lot is uploaded as residential so you can decorate/renovate to your taste. Use cheat changeLotZoning apartmentbase to change into an apartment lot.

Necessary Downloads

None... I think. I tried to keep cc to a minimum, and everything should be included. The master mesh for the doors/windows is included as a separate file in the RAR. You must install this file along with the lot for the doors and windows to work. If you have issues with the numbers in the front of building showing up properly, download them separately here. Any blue flashies, let me know.

I have all EP's up to Apartment Life, and all SP's up to Mansion & Garden. Lot has been play-tested, and works fine in my game.

Enjoy!

khalil, i wouldn't actually call this "heat," but i had to upload something since it's been so long. besides, i like to keep it very simple when i actually play the game to avoid lag and to be able to keep an eye on my simmies. glad you like. :yw:

:thanku: jordain. i have bv, but i've never played a beach lot. besides the horrible lag ocean lots caused in my game before getting my new video card, i like really urban hoods with lots of concrete. there's no beach in the hood. :lol2:

i didn't use anything from holiday or family fun, so you should be ok to download. i'm not a fan of maxis furniture at all. for the most part i use maxis build mode objects (fences/stairs/doors), counters, appliances, plumbing, skill building objects, and recolors of paintings - which aren't items usually found in the later stuff packs.

:thanku:

since when is beachy not a word? :lol2:

well since i'm a nyer and we're known for our arrogance in thinking that the world stops/ends with nyc that may be the problem. :giggle: my main point of reference for "urban" is ny (namely my hood, the bronx). no beaches here except if you count the grossness that is orchard beach and i avoid that place like the plague. :blah:

i'm serious. i'd bet the gulf coast with all that oil is still cleaner than orchard beach.

@Kee88 you might need the master mesh. That blue flash is a indicator that the mesh is missing.

that's weird because the mesh for the house numbers are included in the lot. are the recolors not showing up or the numbers aren't there at all?

:thanku:
