New Member Posting RestrictionsDue to a recent influx of spammers, new members are unable to start new topics until they have replied to at least 2 threads. If you would like to start interacting on the board, we suggest introducing yourself here and then, maybe commenting on one of the many downloads we have available. Do not create multiple accounts. Members found with multiple accounts will be banned.
2.
Do not share your password with anyone, ESPECIALLY not with someone that has been banned. If more than two people are found to be logging into the same account, the account will be banned.
3.
No double posting. Double posting is making two consecutive posts (one behind the other) in the same thread. If you need to add or change something in an existing post use the "Modify" link located at the top of your existing post. Double posting is only allowed in Sims Stories and Member Albums by the member who created the story or album.
4.
No spamming. We consider spam to be posts that add no value to the board and are made simply to increase post count. Consecutively posting "thank you" in every download thread is considered a form of spam, as well as posting in long dead threads without adding anything relevant to the post.
5.
No harassment. Harassment includes any kind of "stalkerish" or insulting behavior whether it be via PM or on the board. Harassment includes, but is not limited to: begging for custom content through private messages (we have a
WCIF forum), asking members to visit your site/forum, or insulting a member's downloads or pics. If you are being harassed, please report it to forum staff.
6.
You MAY advertise your site in your signature or in the Look What I Found section. You MAY NOT use the PM system to invite members to your site. You MAY NOT hijack another member's download thread to promote yourself or your site, unless you have made a recolor or download that is
specifically related to that member's download.
7.
No excessive use of chatspeak. While we understand that typos occur and the occasional use of OMG, LOL and slang is allowed; constantly writing out entire posts using abbreviations, purposely misspelled words, bad grammar, alternating upper/lower case letters, writing in all caps, or using a million different fonts and colors is not. The majority of us are adults. PLEASE WRITE PROPERLY!

Do not quote pictures.. Usually, it's not necessary to quote pictures. You can refer to a picture with a text description and members will know what you're talking about. If you're quoting a member's post ONLY quote the text. Remove all image tags from the quoted comment.
Picture Rules1.
Pictures should be no larger than 700x700. If they are larger, you must resize them in a photo editing program.

Do not post pictures containing full frontal nudity or pornography. This is NOT an adults-only forum. Minors have access to the board.
3.
No hotlinking! Hotlinking is copying the URL of a picture that doesn't belong to you and enclosing it in "img" tags. When you hotlink, you steal bandwidth! If you want to post a picture that isn't yours, save it your hard drive and upload it to your own image host account, such as: Photobucket, Image Shack, or TinyPic.

Do not post signature pictures that exceed 600px in width and 200px in height.
5.
Avatar pics should not exceed 65x65.6.
Do not attach thumbnail pics in any forum besides Downloads. This feature is strictly for the Download section. Any thumbnails found outside the Download thread will be removed.
The first time a members breaks any of the forum rules, they will receive a verbal warning. Members who repeatedly break the rules will have their posting privileges revoked for a specified period or will be banned, depending on the frequency and severity of the infraction at the owners' discretion. These rules are subject to change at any time.
