Thanks Mocha, it's my very first recolor of the year. I might tweak his sneakers though.

Thank you Bree . I just edited his sneakers and replaced the download link so they'd flow better.

Thanks Charana, I wanted to do something classy but casual for a Sims New Year's celebration. I keep seeing pictures of guys wearing vintage gear on tumblr, most recently the trend is silk Chanel bombers. So I took a chance, I'm glad you like it .

Thanks ebony. Honestly Mocha, I'm not really sure that they do but I've seeing guys wearing their gear lately. I put the link near the download where two guys have Chanel jackets on.

Thank you 5Star, I've been dying to make something like this for a little while now. I'm not even sure how much these jackets go for but I've been fascinated with the vintage 80's-90's gear that's been popping up everywhere so I wanted to put my 2 cents in . I actually made the Versace for H&M jacket around the same time as this one actually. I put it on my blog the same time as this one. They were both HARD to recreate but I got it.

if you're into vintage 80's-90's gear, what's up with some dapper dan jackets?

I was thinking about doing that, you're a mind reader. I'd do it if I could find some decent photos.

you don't need to photoskin it from an actual dapper dan jacket. if i can find a good enough pic to use as a guide, i want to try to piece one together from plain leather and designer fabric. those jackets used to be so hot.

Mocha dapper dan jacket are still hot today..especially if its vintage designer like the Gucci/Louie Dapper Dan jacket.it really hott but Its really hard to get it IRL though but Anything vintage is hott right now. this website here has the Gucci one http://www.andstillclothing.com/blog/2009/11/10/v-is-for-vintage/

This jacket took me about 2 hours because I had to get the olive paisley patterns just right in the background. I've saved leather scraps here and there in a file so I can make my varsity jackets. I remember LL, Rakim and etc rockin' those jackets when I was little. I've seen his sneaker customs too recently on some New Balances. 5star, I've been trying to make a ton of old school snapbacks. I recently did a Yo MTV Raps one a few days before Mocha released her meshes. I'll share it soon.

oh i know vintage is always hot, 5star. but i meant it in the sense of how hot they were back when they were originally made in the mid/late 80's. back then everybody in ny wanted one, but only rappers and those involved in illegal activities could afford them. those jackets bring back so many memories.

My babysitter unwittingly put me on to this stuff when I was reallllly young. I remembered watching Video Music Box & seeing everybody and their moms rockin' Gucci or Louis Vuitton jackets. I loved the whole suit look too. It was so dope.

I thought it was weird back then but I really miss seeing people keep the dangling price tags on their hats

lets not talk about weird fashion statements. i remember when guys used to wear rubber bands or tie shoe strings around the bottom of their jeans.

When was this?!?! I remember when guys would thumb tack their jeans to their sneakers to keep the baggy pants in check.
